Split a lot
Before you start
- The lot is Accepted and its Remaining is above 0.
- It is an original lot from the intake, not a lot created by a split.
- You know how many kg go into each new lot.
- You have a connection.
Caution: After a split, the original lot's weight can no longer be corrected in the intake. A split can be reversed only by the Site manager or Central manager, and only before any new lot is used.
Steps
- In Fast intake, press Lot detail on the lot's card.
- Check Remaining under Lot quantity.
- The Split the lot section has two rows. In "New lot 1 (…), kg" type the kg of the first new lot and in "New lot 2 (…), kg" those of the second. Under each row you see "Read as: …".
- For more lots press Add a lot row. To drop a row, press Remove row ….
- Check the line "New lots … + retained … = remaining …". Whatever is retained stays on the original lot and can be split later.
- If a "Blocker:" appears, click it to go to the row that needs fixing.
- Press Split into … lots · ….
- In the Split lot … window read What will change: each new lot's code and kg and what stays. Optionally write a Reason (optional).
- Press Split into … lots · … again. The system may ask you to sign in again.
- You see "… lots created · …" and each new lot's label.
- Press Print label … for each new lot and stick the labels on the right crates.

What if…
- …the total exceeds the remaining kg. The check line says "New lots … exceed the remaining … by …". Reduce a row.
- …you do not see the split form. The lot may have been created by a split, be cancelled, or your role is read-only. If it says "Nothing remains to split.", there is nothing left to split.
- …you see "The lot was changed on another station…". Your rows are kept. Press Review and apply again, check the new remaining kg and try again.
- …the connection drops while confirming. The request is kept and the values are locked. When it returns, press Resend the same request. To change the kg, press Discard and start over.
- …you made a wrong split. Ask the Site manager or Central manager to reverse it before any new lot is used. See Reverse a split.
- …you reach 99 new lots. A lot has at most 99 child lots in total, cancelled ones included.
