Screen: Lot detail and split
Reverse a split
A split is never deleted. It is reversed with a new record: the new lots are cancelled and their kilograms return to the original lot. The codes of the cancelled lots are kept and never reused.
Before you start
- You have the Site manager or Central manager role.
- None of the split's new lots has been used. If one is in a production batch that has not started, remove it from there first.
- The original lot is not in a production batch.
- You have a connection.
Steps
- Open Lot detail for the original lot.
- Under Child lots, find the split's table, for example "Split 1 · …".
- Press Reverse split … (… lots) under the table.
- In the Reverse a split of lot … window, read:
- What will change: "Cancelled: …" and "… return to …".
- Who or what is affected: the new lots' labels are no longer valid.
- What cannot be undone automatically: the reversal cannot be undone.
- Write a Reason (required).
- Press Reverse split · cancel … lots · return …. The system may ask you to sign in again.
- You see "The split was reversed; … lots cancelled: …" and "Remaining on the parent lot now: …".
- Remove the cancelled lots' labels from the crates.
- If the original lot needs a weight correction, do it now from the intake. See Correct an intake mistake.

What if…
- …you do not see the reverse button and it says "The split cannot be reversed while one of its new lots is used…". First remove the new lot from the production batch that has not started.
- …the button does nothing and it says "The parent lot is in production batch …". First remove the original lot from that production batch.
- …you see "Write a reason.". The reason is required.
- …you see "The split is already reversed.". Someone else already reversed it.
- …the connection drops while confirming. The request is kept and the reason is locked. Press Resend the same request when it returns, or Discard and start over.
- …you change your mind. Press Back without a change.
