How to reverse a delivery
A confirmed delivery never changes. If it was wrong, it is reversed: the exact opposite movement is recorded and then, if needed, a new correct delivery.
Before you start
- You have the Site manager or Central manager role.
- You know your password: you will be asked to sign in again.
Steps
- Open the request from the Oil withdrawals list (filter All if it is fulfilled).
- On the delivery press Reverse delivery W-….
- Read what changes: the kg return to the producer balance and to the same tanks.
- Enter the Reason (required, up to 500 characters).
- Press Reverse W-…: return … kg.
- Sign in again. The same request is sent once and the same withdrawal opens again.
- The delivery shows VOID. A fulfilled request opens again, so the correct delivery can be made.
What if…
- …I do not see the button. Your role does not reverse; ask the Site manager.
- …it says the tank cannot take the kg back. Transfer stock first from Tanks.
- …it says a tank now holds oil of another class. The kg go back only to an empty tank or one with the same class. Transfer the stock first from Tanks.
- …the request had been closed (Cancelled). It stays closed. The kg go back to the balance; a new delivery needs a new request.
