Screen: New tenant onboarding
How to onboard a new tenant
Before you start
- Your role is Platform operator (tenant onboarding).
- You have the tenant's data: company, sites, users with email and role, lines, tanks, quality and certification classes, measurement and byproduct types, varieties, prices, producers and agreements.
- The platform's email sending works, because users get an email invitation.
- You will be asked to sign in again at confirmation.
Steps
- Open the Tenant onboarding screen.
- In 1. Template, press Download the current template (.xlsx).
- Open the file in Excel. Fill in each sheet from row 3 down. Do not change sheet or column names. See the values each column accepts on the New tenant onboarding page.
- Save it as .xlsx.
- In 2. Upload and check, in Filled template (.xlsx) choose the file.
- Press Upload and check the file and wait for the check.
- If Errors appear, fix them in Excel using the sheet, row and column in the list, and go back to step 5.
- In 3. Preview, check the Rows per section table: how many sites, users, producers and so on will be created.
- Read every Warning (for example a tax id with a wrong check digit) and confirm it with the tenant.
- Press Create tenant …: … sites, … users, … producers….
- In the Create this tenant? window, press Create the tenant and send … invitations.
- Sign in again when asked.
- In 4. Result you see "The tenant was created." and the User invitations. Continue with How to follow the user invitations.

What if…
- …it says the file was made from an older template. Download the current template and copy the data into it.
- …the company code is already in use. Change the Code on the Company sheet and upload the file again.
- …it says the file has already been uploaded. The same file already has a waiting batch or already created a tenant. No second one is created.
- …I did not confirm within 72 hours. The batch is discarded automatically. Upload the file again.
- …the connection dropped at confirmation. Press Retry: create the tenant (same request). It never creates a second tenant.
- …I want to stop. Press Discard this batch (nothing is created).
