How to create a new production batch
Before you start
- You have the Production operator, Site manager or Central manager role.
- The line is Line in service.
- The olive lots were accepted at intake and are in no other production batch.
- The device is online.
Steps
- Press Production in the screen bar.
- On the line card press + New batch.
- The Available olive lots list opens, oldest first. Each row shows the code, the producer (number · name), the kilograms and the time received.
- To find a lot, type its code, the producer's name or number in Search. Accents and capitals do not matter.
- Tap every olive lot that goes in. The row is marked and below you see "Selected N · kg".
- Press Create batch with N olive lots · kg.
- The new batch opens, Ready to start, with the olive lots under Inputs. To start it see How to start a batch.
Before the start you can still add lots with + Add olive lots, remove one with Remove (with a reason) or cancel the whole batch with More → Cancel draft batch (with a reason; the olive lots become available again).
What if…
- …I do not see the + New batch button. The line is inactive or under maintenance, or your role is read only.
- …the list says "No olive lot is available". Lots appear once accepted at intake.
- …I want only part of an olive lot. Each lot goes in whole. Split it first; see Split a lot.
- …it says "The olive lot is no longer available". Someone put it in another batch. It leaves the list; your other selections stay. Press the button again.
- …it says the batch changed on another device. Your selections were kept. Press the button again.
- …the connection dropped as I pressed. The selections stay. When the connection is back press the button again: the batch will not be created twice.
