How to record a measurement and acknowledge a warning
Before you start
- The batch is Running or Paused.
- You have the value you measured (for example the malaxing temperature).
Steps
- Open the batch from the Production console.
- Press + Add measurement (in the top bar or below Measurements).
- In Measurement type choose what you measured.
- In Value enter the number, for example
27.5. - Press Record the measurement.
- If the value is within the limit, you see "The measurement (…) is recorded." You are done.
- If the value is out of range, you see "The measurement (…) is recorded out of range; see the warning." and a WARNING card at the top.
- On the card, write in Operator comment what you did (for example "lowered the temperature").
- Press Acknowledge and continue. You see "The warning is acknowledged."

What if…
- …it says the value is not a number. Enter only a number, without a unit or other symbols.
- …the measurement is out of range. Production does not stop. The card stays until it is acknowledged, and without acknowledgement the batch cannot be completed.
- …I entered a wrong value. A measurement cannot be deleted. Record a new measurement with the right value and, if a warning came out, explain the mistake in the comment.
- …it says "Write a comment." The operator comment is required for the acknowledgement.
